Privacy policy
How ITRE handles personal information. This static website sets no cookies, uses no trackers and offers no forms; contact is by telephone and email only.
Our approach
ITRE respects the privacy of visitors and clients. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not merely to exist. ITRE is a sub-brand of SAZ.ca, and this policy applies to the itre.ca website and to enquiries made through it.
We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (BC PIPA). We are not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice.
What this website collects
This website is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts, loads no advertising or social-media trackers and embeds no third-party fonts or forms. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, time and page requested, for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to identify individuals.
Because there are no contact forms, we do not collect personal information through the website itself. Links to other sites, such as saz.ca and sedighi.ca, are governed by their own policies.
Information you give us directly
If you telephone or email us, we receive what you choose to tell us: typically your name, organisation, contact details and a description of your needs. We use it to respond, to prepare proposals and to provide services. If you become a client, we collect and handle information as described in your engagement letter, including any information about your own clients that we access in the course of providing support.
We collect only what is reasonably necessary, we tell you why, and we ask for your consent where it is required.
How we use and protect information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver and improve our services, meet legal obligations and protect against fraud. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We may share it with service providers who assist us, such as email and file-storage providers, under terms that require them to protect it.
We apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including multi-factor authentication, encryption, access controls and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected individuals and regulators where the law requires.
Retention and your rights
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law, and then securely delete or anonymise it. You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to withdraw consent, subject to legal limits. To make a request, call (604) 632-4959 or email info@SAZ.ca.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, where applicable, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, and the date of the latest review is shown on each page. Material changes will be reflected here. Questions about this policy or our practices can be directed to info@SAZ.ca or (604) 632-4959, and will be answered by a senior member of the team.
